"How can Kidblog, Skype, and VoiceThread be incorporated
in even more middle school subject areas?"
in even more middle school subject areas?"
In the interactive ThingLink image below we have gathered a variety of examples to provide brief snapshots we hope will inspire teachers across the curriculum to see the application of KidBlog, Skype, and VoiceThread in these subjects (and beyond).
We know many middle school teachers are responsible for a variety of subjects across different grades throughout the course of a year or a career and the most valuable tools are those which can transfer across grade and subject lines when you do. Thus, even though the lesson plans created in each collaborative edTech unit may not be applicable to some of you at this time, that doesn't mean these digital tools don't extend the possibilities in whatever grade or curriculum you teach!
We wanted to provide a quick, yet comprehensive, snapshot of some of the uses of these three tools within the varied subjects of middle school. Remember that because collaboration is a skill applicable for every age of learner, it is our opinion that these examples can be adapted to meet the needs of any division in the K-12 panel. Our hope is that these examples will inspire you to see the potential for integration opportunities within your own teaching assignments.
